Job summary

The Covenant Living Communities and Services in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator / Driver to provide safe transportation and lead a vibrant activities program that promotes wellness, independence, and social engagement for residents.

You will drive the community van, support a wide range of activities, and build meaningful relationships with residents while ensuring safety and enjoyment on outings and events.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL license if applicable.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to support life enrichment activities and resident engagement.

Responsibilities

• Drive community van for appointments, outings, and activities.
• Assist residents safely onto/off vehicle and escort as needed.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement life enrichment programs.
• Encourage participation in social, recreational, educational, cultural, and wellness activities.
• Set up, facilitate, and clean activity events and gatherings.
• Develop positive relationships with residents and provide companionship.
• Accompany residents on outings, ensuring safety and enjoyment.
• Maintain attendance and participation logs as directed.
• Notify supervisor about vehicle maintenance needs.
• Complete vehicle inspection checklists and monitor fuel levels.
• Monitor vehicle inspection/maintenance schedules.
• Identify and report hazards to maintain a safe environment.
• Clean interior/exterior of the van regularly.
• Assist with decorating common areas for holidays and events.
