Qualifications

• 2+ years of college or equivalent required or higher.
• 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience required, or 2 years general work experience with optical exposure and HS diploma/GED.
• Active ABO license and eligibility to work in the Vision Center required.
• HIPAA compliance knowledge and required licensure/registration as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead optical department merchandising, pricing accuracy, and inventory oversight.
• Foresee sales trends and align frame assortments with member needs and local patterns.
• Oversee measurements, fittings, and contact lens education under optometric supervision.
• Ensure HIPAA and safety protocol compliance and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coach and develop the optical team through training and performance management.
