Job summary

Walmart Vision Center is seeking an optician leader responsible for driving sales through effective merchandising, pricing, and in-stock levels. You will supervise associates, ensure excellent customer service, and oversee compliance, safety, and inventory controls at the MENA Vision Center location.

You will train and mentor staff, assist customers in selecting eyewear, take Measurements, verify prescriptions, and perform minor frame repairs while upholding Walmart's values and policies.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2 or more years of college or 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience or 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales in the Vision Center through effective merchandising and inventory management.
• Leads and develops Associates, ensuring customer needs and issues are resolved per policy.
• Oversees asset protection, safety, and compliance with company policies and programs.
• Educates Members/Customers on product selection and completes measurements and minor frame repairs.
• Maintains confidentiality and supports open-door policy for team concerns.
