Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Vision Center leader to drive sales through effective merchandise presentation, pricing, and inventory management. You will guide Associates in customer service, oversee compliance with company policies, and participate in community outreach efforts.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, training, mentoring, and fostering a culture of belonging, while ensuring confidentiality of records and adherence to safety and quality standards in the Vision Center.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: 2+ years of college OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience including 1 year optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

Responsibilities

• Direct and guide Vision Center Associates on customer service approaches to resolve member needs and issues.
• Oversee merchandise presentation, pricing, signing, and inventory levels; monitor safety and asset protection.
• Coordinate community outreach and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in the Vision Center.
• Supervise and develop associates, hire, train, mentor, assign duties, and foster a sense of belonging.
