Job summary

Detay Inc. is seeking a Responsible License Qualifier to join our team and ensure regulatory compliance for company licensing.

This role involves maintaining licenses across multi-site facilities, coordinating with finance on invoicing, and managing renewal timelines. The successful candidate will have 5–10 years of relevant industry experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to navigate state and federal licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of industry experience in related fields such as construction, telecommunications, cable, or similar.
• Demonstrated experience in navigating government and regulatory licensing requirements.
• Proficient in Excel, including data modeling and analytics.
• Capable of operating effectively within matrix organizations and with government entities.
• Strong initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrician, general contractor, plumber or HVAC contractor licenses.
• Pass required training and examinations to obtain certifications and licenses.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local licensing laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with finance on invoicing and payments for license applications and renewals.
• Track licensing due dates, renewals, and changes; ensure timely submissions.
