Job summary

New Season seeks Telecounselors to provide individual and group counseling via a HIPAA-compliant synchronous video platform to patients across the United States. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address clinical needs and ensure timely documentation, with remote work eligibility at leadership's discretion.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a Human Services field and independent licensure (LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW) in the state served, plus experience in substance abuse,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a Human Services field with independent licensure (LMHC/LMFT/LCSW) in the supported state.
• Experience in substance abuse, Intensive Outpatient, group therapy and telecounseling.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to multitask, work independently, and be reliable.

Responsibilities

• Delivers individual and group counseling via synchronous video.
• Educates patients on treatment, health issues and recovery steps.
• Completes documentation in the electronic health record within required timeframes.
• Assists with intake, admission, discharge and transfer paperwork.
• Maintains compliance and updates required forms.
• Participates in weekly treatment team meetings.
• Reports abuse, neglect and grievances as required.
• Coordinates urine drug screens with clinic liaisons and documents as needed.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
