Job summary

Blaze Real Estate & Property Management LLC in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Property Manager to oversee a residential portfolio end to end, report to the licensed property management lead, and own the field side of daily operations from inspections to compliance.

You will manage move-ins and move-outs, the maintenance queue, unit turns, and housing-authority interactions, prepare move-out charges, coordinate with owners and residents via AppFolio, and drive timely ownership communications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential property management experience.
• Texas real estate license (sales agent or broker) required.
• Working knowledge of Texas landlord-tenant rules, evictions.
• Comfortable using AppFolio and documenting from your phone.

Responsibilities

• Own inspections for your portfolio and turn findings into work orders.
• Manage maintenance queue and chase aged items.
• Approve over-limit jobs and emergency spend within policy.
• Review completed work orders and bill items.
• Prepare move-outs with dates, forwarding addresses, and charges.
• Oversee subsidized units and ensure timely re-inspection.
• File and appear for evictions with required stops.
• Keep compliance reports green and communicate in writing via AppFolio.
