Job summary

Real Property Management Express seeks a hands-on Area Manager to oversee a 300–400 unit residential portfolio. You will manage on-site teams, ensure compliance, and drive operational performance across multiple properties within the region.

You will monitor leasing, financials, and rent collection, coordinating maintenance and vendor activities to sustain high standards and minimize vacancies. Strong leadership and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or real estate operations.
• Ability to review basic financial reports and operational data.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Clear, direct communication style and accountability.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region and manage multiple properties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across a portfolio of 300–400 units to ensure performance and standards.
• Monitor occupancy, leasing activity, and renewals to minimize vacancy loss.
• Review property financials and identify issues, trends, or opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure rent collection processes are consistent and delinquency is addressed promptly.
• Coordinate maintenance and vendor management for timely, cost-effective unit turns.
• Lead, coach, and manage on-site teams including hiring and performance management.
