Job summary

Capstone Management is seeking a on-site Property Manager in Amarillo, TX to manage daily operations of a residential community. You will handle rent collection, payments, deposits, and monthly close-outs, ensuring accurate accounting and timely reporting.

You will supervise on-site staff, coordinate maintenance and make-ready tasks, assist with leasing, show apartments, and prepare leases and move-in documents. A high school diploma and strong math skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong Math Skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily rent, fees, and payment transactions; prepares daily deposits and monthly close reports.
• Operates property management software; enters updates and backups to maintain system integrity.
• Reviews resident files to determine unpaid fees, communicates with residents, enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Reviews and submits vendor invoices for payment and coordinates with vendors, accounting, and owners.
• Follows eviction procedures and represents the community in court as needed.
• Processes move-outs, reviews lease terms, applies deposits and fees per policy, and handles disposition.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by responding to complaints and requests promptly.
• Acts as on-site supervisor in the absence of the community manager; coordinates maintenance and make-ready tasks.
• Assists with leasing; shows apartments, completes applications, and prepares lease and move-in documents.
• Promotes a positive image of the community and management company.
