Job summary

Loudoun County is seeking a Licensed Program Assistant to support preschool and childcare licensing programs. You will organize administrative tasks, manage records, and communicate with families with discretion.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience or an equivalent education/experience mix; familiarity with program fees and licensing regulations is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support to licensed preschool and childcare programs, including support for special projects and meetings.
• Gathers and handles program fees in accordance with defined processes and policies.
• Ensures polite and timely customer service for County staff, vendors, residents, and visitors; directs them to the appropriate staff.
• Carries out designated special assignments autonomously or as part of a team.
• Maintains required program documentation.
• Other essential job duties relevant to the role and department may be required.
