Job summary

Loudoun County Parks, Recreation & Community Services (PRCS) is hiring a full-time Licensed Program Coordinator for the Ashburn Recreation and Community Center. Under the Recreation Programs Manager, you will plan, develop, and oversee a specific program and staff, promoting services within the community and managing budgets and records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 1 year of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Must undergo criminal background, credit, and DMV checks; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develops and reviews program policies, procedures, management plans, and budgets; coordinates staff budget requests.
• Oversees licensed preschool and childcare programs; supervises teachers and staff.
• Delivers surveys and reports; tracks program revenue and performance.
• Maintains records, handles revenue, expenses, payments, and cash handling; reconciles expenses.
• Maintains vendor relationships and procurement; may drive a vehicle; promotes services.
