Loudoun County's Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Licensed Program Coordinator for the Ashburn Recreation and Community Center. Under the general direction of the Recreation Programs Manager, plans, develops, and oversees a specific program and staff for the assigned department. This role involves promoting program services within the community, managing the program budget and the delivery of services, keeping program records, evaluating program revenue and effectiveness, and supervising designated staff and/or volunteers.
This position requires continual direction and oversight of licensed preschool and childcare programs. A successful candidate will be able to communicate, solve problems, adapt to changing situations, think critically, and work as a team. PRCS provides services to a wide range of individuals, including youth, adults, persons with disabilities, and seniors.

Hiring salary commensurate with experience.
Bachelor's degree in a field related to the assigned program or department and one (1) year related work experience with some lead or supervisory experience preferred. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must undergo a criminal background, credit, and DMV check. A valid driver's license and good driving record are required. Annual reviews of driving records may be conducted to ensure ongoing qualification.
For licensed programs requirements include: Fingerprinting, TB test within 30 days of hire; pass Child Protective Services (CPS) check; hold or obtain First Aid/CPR certifications at hire or within four (4) months. Some programs may have additional legal requirements, credentials, or certifications to meet prior to hire or within the probationary period and/or annually.
