Job summary

AEG seeks a Licensed Practice Manager to lead daily practice operations, optimize patient flow, and support the team in delivering exceptional patient care. You will drive business results while fostering a patient-centered environment on-site.

The role partners with the Optometrist and field leadership to align service delivery, staff development, and technology adoption, ensuring compliant, high-quality care and a positive patient experience across the practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience in optical, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or a comparable service environment.
• State Licensure and optical dispensing experience required.
• Strong communication, coaching, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to lead teams across multiple practice functions.
• Experience partnering with clinicians and field leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practice operations, patient flow, staffing, scheduling, labor planning, service execution, and operational consistency.
• Serve as the primary on-site floor leader, aligning patient needs and daily priorities.
• Set clear expectations for staff regarding patient care standards and performance goals.
• Partner with the Optometrist to support exam flow, clinical support, and service offerings.
• Lead, coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for performance and care standards.
• Support new hire development, training, and adoption of systems and technology.
