Job summary

AEG is seeking a Licensed Practice Manager to lead daily operations, develop the team, and ensure exceptional patient care at our Florida practice. You will drive service standards, workflow efficiency, and collaboration with the Optometrist and district leadership to achieve strong business results.

The role requires a strong leader who can interpret performance trends, coach staff, manage scheduling, and maintain compliance while embracing evolving digital workflows and AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience in optical, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or a comparable service environment required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practice operations, patient flow, staffing, scheduling, labor planning, service execution, and operational consistency across the practice.
• Serve as the primary on-site floor leader by supporting team alignment, patient needs, service recovery, and real-time operational priorities.
• Establish clear expectations for practice staff and ensure understanding of daily priorities, roles, patient care standards, and performance goals.
• Partner with Optometrist to support exam flow, clinical support expectations, required medical services, patient handoffs, team readiness, and evolving service offerings.
• Lead, coach, develop, recognize, and hold practice team members accountable for performance, patient care standards, and service behaviors.
• Support new hire development, ongoing training, AI-enabled tools adoption, and practice-level learning needs.
• Monitor patient feedback, service trends, and performance data to identify opportunities and barriers.
