Job summary

AEG Vision in Suffolk, VA seeks a Licensed Practice Manager to inspire and develop the on-site team, deliver exceptional patient care, and drive meaningful business results. You will lead daily operations, manage staffing, coach staff, and align with the Optometrist to ensure seamless exam flow and patient handoffs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience in optical, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or a comparable service environment.
• State Licensure as required.
• Optical dispensing experience is preferred and relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practice operations, patient flow, staffing, scheduling, labor planning, and operational consistency across the practice.
• Serve as the primary on-site floor leader, aligning staff with patient needs, service expectations, and performance goals.
• Partner with the Optometrist to support exam flow, clinical support, patient handoffs, and evolving service offerings.
• Coach, develop, recognize, and hold staff accountable for performance and patient care standards.
• Support new hire development, training, and adoption of updated systems and technologies, including AI-enabled tools.
• Monitor patient feedback and service trends to identify opportunities and optimize experience.
