Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse at our Health Center in Cleveland, NC. The 20-hour weekly schedule includes Tue 8:00 AM–1:00 PM, Wed 12:30 PM–5:00 PM, Thu 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Fri 7:00 AM–1:00 PM.

You will provide direct patient care under supervision, perform and document medical tasks, maintain equipment, uphold infection control, and keep patient records. You’ll also support other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN-accredited program with an A.S. in nursing or equivalent.
• Currently licensed as LPN/LVN in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (AHA/ARC or equivalent) with hands-on training.
• At least three years of clinical experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, or ED setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision and within scope of practice.
• Perform and document medical tasks including medication administration, wound care, and specimen collection.
• Maintain medical equipment, environment, and infection control procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient health records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Cleveland, NC.

The scheduled hours are 20 hours per week

• Tuesday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM


• Wednesday: 12:30 PM–5:00 PM


• Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM


• Friday: 7:00 AM–1:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice


• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders


• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures


• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records


• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school


• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required


• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required


• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
