Job summary

Premise Health is hiring a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse for our Health Center in Maryville, TN. You will provide direct patient care under supervision, document treatments, and help maintain a safe clinical environment.

Requirements include an LPN license in the state, BLS certification, and at least three years of ambulatory/occupational health or ED experience. PRN schedule supports PTO and sick time with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NLN-accredited program with an Associate degree or equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training.
• At least three years of clinical LPN/LVN experience in ambulatory, occupational health, or ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of healthcare providers.
• Document medical tasks such as meds, wound care, and specimen collection as ordered.
• Maintain equipment, ensure clean environment and infection control.
• Keep patient health records up to date.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Maryville, TN.

Schedule:

• PRN as needed to cover PTO and Sick time.
• Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00a - 6:00p.

What You'll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
