Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse for our Health Center in Dyersburg, TN. You will provide direct patient care to employees and dependents under provider supervision within clinic hours.

Qualified candidates will have an LPN license, an associate degree or equivalent, and BLS certification. PRN and part-time voicemail benefits included; extensive wellness programs are available.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree/certification required for practice.
• Active LPN license in state of TN or applicable state.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC or equivalent) required.
• Three years of clinical experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, or ED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of healthcare providers.
• Perform and document medical tasks: medication administration, wound care, specimen collection as ordered.
• Maintain clean and safe environment; follow infection control procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient health records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Dyersburg, TN. PRN Availability within our clinic hours Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
