Job summary

Ascension is seeking an LPN/LVN to provide hands-on nursing care at Alexian Village of Tennessee in Signal Mountain, TN. You will administer medications, perform treatments, and conduct routine assessments to support residents in a skilled nursing setting.

You’ll collaborate with RNs, maintain resident safety, build trusting relationships with residents and families, and uphold high standards of compassionate care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse licensure.
• High school diploma equivalency or 1 year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers hands-on nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, and routine assessments.
• Monitors resident conditions and promptly reports changes to RNs.
• Builds consistent, trusting relationships with residents and families in a long-term care setting.
• Detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to resident safety and comfort.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
