Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Nurse Aide for the Skilled Nursing department at Alexian Village of Tennessee in Signal Mountain, TN. The role is full-time with day shifts, offering hourly pay ranging from $16.60 to $21.47.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, observing changes in health, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting nurses with procedures. A Nurse Aide certification is required; BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Nurse Aide certification is required prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider certification is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Observe residents closely and report changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by identifying hazards and promptly reporting safety concerns to nurses.
• Partner with nurses to assist with physician-ordered procedures and resident care.
