Job summary

Community Care Physicians’ Capital Region Family Medicine in Latham, NY is seeking a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. This 20-hour/week role offers a Tuesday and Friday 7:00am–5:00pm schedule and eligibility for a $3,500 recruitment bonus.

You will administer vaccines, document patient interactions, manage flow, prepare patients, obtain specimens, enter orders, and assist with procedures such as PFTs, EKGs, nebulizers, and immunizations while upholding confidentiality and

Qualifications

• Valid NYS LPN license required.
• Experience as LPN in medical practice preferred.
• Strong computer skills with EMR systems.
• Knowledge of nursing principles and protocols.
• Understanding of infection control and patient confidentiality.
• Familiarity with medical chart reporting and assessment techniques.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients in records.
• Maintain accurate and timely entries in patient charts.
• Ensure smooth patient flow throughout the visit.
• Prepare patients for visits according to requirements.
• Obtain specimens and enter lab orders accurately.
• Assist with procedures (PFT, EKG, neb, immunizations).
• Process prescriptions and discuss results per provider.
