Job summary

Community Care Physicians in Schodack, NY is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Internal Medicine and Pediatrics team. This 40-hour week runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with a recruitment and retention bonus of up to $3,500.

Responsibilities include administering vaccines, documenting conversations and patient data, maintaining timely patient flow, preparing patients for visits, obtaining specimens, entering orders into the lab system, and assisting with

• Valid NYS LPN license.
• Previous LPN experience in a medical practice.
• Strong computer skills with EMR.
• Knowledge of infection control and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e. urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations).
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Compensation

$26.00 - $33.00 per hour

Qualifications
