Job summary

Community Care Physicians is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for our Schodack Internal Medicine and Pediatrics office. This 40-hour/week role runs Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with a recruitment bonus up to $3,500. The position involves vaccines, patient care, and a range of clinical duties in a busy practice.

Qualified applicants will hold a NYS LPN license, have prior LPN or MA/PCT experience, strong EMR skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active NYS LPN license.
• Experience as an LPN in a medical practice or as MA/Patient Care Tech.
• Strong computer skills with EMR experience.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, infection control and patient confidentiality.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient records accurately and timely.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patients for visits as required by office/provider.
• Obtain specimens (urine, blood, etc.) as directed by the provider.
• Enter orders accurately into the lab system.
• Perform clinical procedures as directed (PFT, EKG, nebulizer, meds, immunizations).
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Our Schodack Internal Medicine and Pediatrics office is looking for a full-time LPN to join their team! This is a 40 hour week. The hours are: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm.

This position is eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus!!

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e. urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations).
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Compensation

$26.00 - $33.00 per hour
