Community Care Physicians in Schodack seeks a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Internal Medicine and Pediatrics team. The role is 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:30pm, with a recruitment bonus of up to $3,500.

Responsibilities include vaccines, patient documentation, and maintaining smooth patient flow. Eligibility requires NYS LPN license and prior clinic experience; EMR skills and strong confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS LPN license.
• Previous LPN experience in a medical practice or prior experience as a Medical Assistant/Patient Care Tech.
• Strong computer skills with EMR experience.
• Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols.
• Knowledge of infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
• Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques.

Responsabilités

• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations)
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Introduction

Our Schodack Internal Medicine and Pediatrics officeis looking for a full-time LPN to join their team! This is a 40 hour week.

The hours are: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm.

**This position is eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus!!**

• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations)
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Compensation

Compensation: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
