Job summary

Premise Health in Morristown, TN is seeking a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver direct patient care and support front desk duties at our Health Center. Schedule: 24 hours weekly (Mon, Wed, Fri, 7:00am–4:00pm). Includes clinical tasks and administrative work with phlebotomy responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in state of practice required.
• Associate's degree (A.S.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Current hands-on BLS certification (AHA/ARC or equivalent).
• Three+ years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in ambulatory care or occupational health.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of healthcare providers.
• Document medical tasks including medication administration and specimen collection per orders.
• Maintain clinical environment and clean, safe infection control practices.
• Maintain patient health records with up-to-date information.
• Perform administrative/front desk duties as assigned.

As a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Morristown, TN. The scheduled hours are 24 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm. This position will support both clinical and administrative/front desk duties. Must have strong phlebotomy skills.

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
