Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) for a clinic assignment in Houston, TX. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with travel to various clinics as needed. This is a 6-week contract with a pay range of $33–$35 per hour, based on experience and credentials.

Responsibilities include providing nursing care under supervision and performing LVN I duties with higher classification as appropriate. Active Texas LVN/LPN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas LVN/LPN license (unencumbered).
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 6 months of clinical experience; LVN II: 4+ years; LVN III: 9+ years.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred; gastroenterology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area under supervision.
• Perform LVN I duties with higher responsibilities as LVN II/III depending on experience.
• Utilize equipment and supplies appropriate for the patient population and area.

Pride Health is hiring a LPN/LVN- Clinic to support our client's healthcare facility in Houston, TX.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Location: Houston, TX- travel to different clinics as needed.
• Job Type: Contract- 6 Weeks
• Pay Range: $33-$35

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Provide nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor or Nurse Coordinator.
• Perform LVN I responsibilities, with additional duties based on experience and LVN II or LVN III classification.
• Utilize equipment and related supplies appropriate for the selected patient population and assigned clinical area.

Requirements:

License(s): Active, unencumbered Texas LVN/LPN license.

Certification(s): BLS

Years of experience: Minimum of 6 months in a clinical area or successful completion of a KSC LVN Residency program. LVN II: 4+ years of clinical experience preferred. LVN III: 9+ years of clinical experience preferred.

Skills/Specialties/Technology: EPIC EMR experience preferred; Gastroenterology experience, phone queue management, prior authorizations, referrals, scheduling, and InBasket management are a plus.
