Job summary

Amedisys Home Health seeks a licensed practical nurse for full-time field duties in Alabama. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. Orientation pay at start, then per point pay during visits, with rates of $35.00–$36.00 per point.

Responsibilities include verifying plans of care, collaborating with physicians and RNs, teaching self-care, monitoring vitals, and timely documentation to support patient healing at home.

Qualifications

• One year of LPN clinical experience.
• Current LPN license for the state you will work in.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Verify plan of care with the RN prior to each visit.
• Collaborate with physician and RN to ensure patient needs are met and notify changes.
• Teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques.
• Check vital signs.
• Review medications and perform reconciliation at each visit.
• Perform procedures ordered by physician (e.g., Foley catheter change).
• Prepare equipment and materials for treatments using aseptic technique.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.

Attractive pay

$26.00 to $35.00 Per hour for Orientation and will then convert to a per point pay method with a rate of $35.00 to $36.00
