Job summary

AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our full-time day shift team. Work in patients' homes across your community with flexibility, purpose and growth opportunities, while earning competitive pay during orientation and advancing to the Point Pay System after orientation.

• Collaborate with physician and RN to ensure patient needs are met and notify changes.
• Teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques.
• Check vital signs.
• Review medications and perform medication reconciliation at each visit.
• Perform specialized procedures ordered by physician (e.g. foley catheter change).
• Prepare equipment and materials for treatments using aseptic technique.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
