Job summary

AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH is hiring a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for full-time day shifts in Sylacauga, Alabama. The role supports patient care at home, coordinates with RNs and physicians, and ensures accurate medication reconciliation and vital signs monitoring.

Starting pay ranges from $24 to $29 per hour with orientation, a per-point pay method afterward, and a comprehensive benefits package including health plans, PTO, HSA credits, wellness rewards, mental health support, and a 401(k) with

Qualifications

• One year of clinical LPN experience.
• Current LPN license valid in assigned state.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Verify plan of care with the RN prior to each visit.
• Collaborate with physician and RN frequently to ensure patient needs are being met; Notify them as soon as possible when patient condition changes.
• Teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques.
• Check vital signs.
• Review all medications and perform a medication reconciliation at each visit.
• Perform specialized procedures ordered by physician (i.e. foley catheter change).
• Prepare equipment and materials for treatments using the aseptic technique.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.

Attractive pay

$24.00 to $29.00 per hour for Orientation and will then convert to a per point pay method
