Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks licensed Professional Engineers to act as seller-doer specialists in Sugar Land, Texas. You will secure and manage client relationships while performing engineering reviews, sealing reports, and coordinating with our in-house laboratory team.

The role blends business development with technical workload: you’ll pitch testing programs, price proposals, and lead projects from proposal to seal.

Qualifications

• Active PE license (civil/geotechnical/structural) in TX or able by comity within 90 days.
• 6+ years in construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, or special inspection with client-facing responsibility.
• Record of bringing in work or credible plan to do so in this market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a book of clients for materials testing, special inspection, and geotechnical services.
• Scope, price, and write proposals; negotiate terms and convert opportunities into signed work.
• Serve as engineer of record on won projects: review data, seal reports, and coordinate with laboratory staff.
