Construction Material Testing is seeking licensed Professional Engineers who thrive selling testing programs to contractors and owners while delivering technical review and sealing geotechnical letters.

As a seller-doer, you manage a book of business, develop proposals, and lead project teams; base salary ranges, revenue share, travel to client offices, and a strong support platform from Sugar Land.

Qualifications

• Active PE license in civil/geotechnical/structural.
• 6+ years in construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, or special inspection with client-facing duties.
• Proven ability to win work or credible plan to do so; comfortable pricing and negotiating.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a book of clients for materials testing, special inspection, and geotechnical services.
• Scope, price, and write proposals; negotiate terms; convert opportunities into signed work.
• Serve as engineer of record on won projects; review field and laboratory data; seal reports and letters.
• Direct technicians and inspectors; coordinate with the laboratory on testing schedules.
• Represent the company at owner meetings, pre-construction meetings, and industry events.
