Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a seller-doer engineer licensed as a Professional Engineer. You will manage client relationships and drive revenue while reviewing data, sealing reports, and coordinating field and lab work.

Responsibilities include developing a book of clients, writing proposals, and representing the firm at meetings and industry events in your market. Travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Active PE license in the state of posting or via comity within 90 days.
• 6+ years in materials testing/geotechnical/special inspection with client-facing responsibility.
• Track record in bringing in work or clear plan for market success.
• Comfortable pricing and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a client book for materials testing, special inspection, geotech.
• Scope, price, and write proposals; negotiate terms; convert opportunities.
• Serve as engineer of record; review data, seal reports and letters.
• Direct technicians; coordinate with lab on testing schedules.
• Represent the company at owner/pre-construction meetings and industry events.
