LensCrafters in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Licensed Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service in-store and, when applicable, in the lab. The role includes guidance of optical and lab processes and ensuring high standards of care for customers and patients.

You will supervise staff, assist customers with selections, and ensure accurate lens fitting, edging, and mounting while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED.
• Current & valid state Opticianry license.
• Strong optical & retail experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory & merchandise.
• Strong inter-personal skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Sales skills.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Leadership & training experience.
• Edging & mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge & optical measurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed customer service.
• Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, assist sales associates.
• Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
• Provide expertise & product knowledge on lens choices based on patient vision needs & prescription.
• Perform accurate digital measurements and adjust/repair eyewear as needed.
