Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Licensed Team Lead to drive exceptional customer service and oversee optical and lab processes in a Macy’s department store setting. The role emphasizes accurate lens knowledge, sales, and leadership to deliver a high-quality vision-care experience.

You will manage key processes, supervise team members, and ensure compliance with optical standards while maintaining a safe, productive store environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Current and valid state Opticianry license.
• Strong optical and retail experience.
• Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Inter-personal and math skills.
• Sales skills and problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers and calculators.
• Leadership and training experience.
• Edging and mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge and measurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed Customer Service.
• Proactive and solution-driven, accurate execution and product knowledge.
• Assist customers with selections and provide recommendations.
• Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
