Job summary

AEG Vision in Findlay, GA is seeking a Licensed Optician who will deliver expert eyewear solutions and outstanding patient care. You will assist patients in choosing frames and lenses that match prescription and lifestyle, ensure proper fit and measurements, and code prescriptions into the EHR/ALE systems.

Qualifications

• State Licensure required for optician practice.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Optical dispensing experience required.
• HIPAA knowledge or experience preferred.
• PC skills including MS Office/Windows and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories to fit prescription, lifestyle, and personal style.
• Ensure proper frame fit, measurements, and lens dispensing; interpret prescriptions by Optometrist/Ophthalmologist.
• Enter prescription data into EHR and ALE systems; attach documents to patient chart.
• Provide exceptional customer service and educate patients on care, warranty, and insurance.
