Qualifications

• Must hold applicable state ophthalmic dispensing license.
• Knowledge of optical products and interpretation of prescriptions.
• Ability to explain optical products, services and options to customers.
• Strong math skills for pricing, discounts and percentages.
• Ability to read, write and present information clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with frame and lens selection while maintaining social distance.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and cleaning protocols.
• Provide accurate product information on frames, lenses and services.
• Explain insurance benefits and any charges not covered by insurance.
• Use SERVE sales process to identify needs and recommend lens options.
• Interpret prescriptions and coordinate with Lab/Optometrist for accuracy.
• Measure and dispense frames with proper adjustments and pricing accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized dispensing area and comply with company policies.
