VisionWorks is seeking an on-site Optical Retail Associate to assist customers with frame and lens selections, interpret prescriptions, and dispense frames and accessories. You will ensure social distancing, maintain cleanliness, and communicate insurance benefits to customers.

HIPAA compliance and ongoing training are required to meet state licensure standards. The role emphasizes accurate measurements, customer service, and collaboration with lab and optometrists to ensure prescription

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain applicable state licensure for ophthalmic dispensing.
• Knowledge and demonstrated abilities in explaining optical products, services, the analysis and interpretation of optical prescriptions, fitting and dispensing.

Responsabilités

• Assist each customer in frame and lens selection meeting social distance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with social distancing, cleaning protocols and hygiene practices.
• Provide customers with accurate product information regarding frames, lens selections and services.
• Provide customers with information regarding insurance benefits and any additional charges.
• Utilize SERVE sales process to identify customer needs and make lens recommendations.
• Analyze and interpret patients prescriptions and coordinate with Lab and Optometrist for accuracy.
• Sell, fit and dispense frames and accessories with precise measurements and adjustments.
• Maintain a clean and orderly dispensing area.
• Maintain pricing accuracy for retail customers.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy policies and company procedures.
• Participate in training and maintain professional affiliations as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workspace daily.
