Visionworks is seeking an Optical Sales Associate to assist customers in selecting frames and lenses, interpret prescriptions, and provide service information. You will use the SERVE process to identify needs and recommend lens options while ensuring accurate measurements and proper dispensing.

Responsibilities include maintaining HIPAA privacy, verifying insurance benefits, and collaborating with lab and optometrist to ensure prescription accuracy.

Formación

• Must have and maintain applicable state licensure for ophthalmic dispensing.
• Ability to explain optical products and interpret prescriptions, fitting and dispensing.
• Strong customer service skills and HIPAA/privacy compliance awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers with frame and lens selection while maintaining social distance.
• Provide accurate information on frames, lenses and services.
• Explain insurance benefits and any charges not covered by insurance.
• Utilize SERVE process to identify needs and determine lens recommendations.
• Communicate with Lab and Optometrist to ensure prescription accuracy.
• Sell, fit and dispense frames and accessories with precise measurements.
• Maintain a clean, organized dispensing area and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Adhere to state licensure requirements and participate in training.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and security compliance.
