Warby Parker is opening a new store and seeking skilled opticians to join our growing in-house optical team. You will help customers see better by fitting eyewear, taking measurements, and explaining prescription terminology with confidence.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or ABO-certified in non-licensing states
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain prescription terminology to customers
• Passion for eyewear and retail with a customer-first approach
• Detail-oriented and able to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to meet eyewear needs
• Take and record measurements, fit eyewear with accuracy
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers
• Collaborate with team to deliver exceptional service
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, and lifestyle
• Develop best practices for sales and customer service across the organization
• Represent the brand and educate others about Warby Parker values
