Job summary

Warby Parker is opening a new Midlothian depot and seeks a licensed optician to join our in-house optical team. You’ll work directly with customers, take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure every pair meets our standards, while explaining prescription terms and product options.

You’ll collaborate with a motivated team in a fast-paced environment, helping customers choose frames and lenses that fit their prescription, face, and lifestyle while representing our brand values.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries
• Clear, effective communicator who can break down technical terms for customers
• Dedicated to going above and beyond to make customers and teammates happy
• Energetic, positive team player in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to assess eyewear needs
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
• Collaborate with team to deliver exceptional service
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit and lifestyle
• Work with team to establish sales and service best practices
• Represent the brand and educate customers about our values and mission
