Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking a licensed optician to join our Greater Boston area team. You will help customers with eyewear needs, take measurements, and ensure the final product meets both our standards and the customer’s expectations.

You will explain prescriptions, assist in frame selection, and collaborate across teams to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced retail environment. A licensed status or ABO certification is required, with a passion for eyewear.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed dispensing optician in licensed states or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industry.
• Clear, effective communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer specs.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options.
• Collaborate with team to implement best sales and service practices.
• Assist customers in frame and lens selection based on prescription and lifestyle.
