Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house team and help customers find the perfect eyewear with expert fitting, measurements, and care. You’ll explain prescriptions clearly and ensure each pair meets quality standards while delivering exceptional service.

As a licensed (or ABO-certified where required) optician, you’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values ongoing learning, strong teamwork, and a passion for eyewear.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license.
• ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communication broken down for customers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate to implement best practices for sales and service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Represent the brand to educate and excite about values and mission.
