Job summary

AEG is seeking a Licensed Optician to join our on-site team. You will help patients select eyewear and accessories that fit prescriptions, lifestyle, and personal style.

You will ensure proper frame fit, accurate measurements, and precise lens dispensing while delivering outstanding customer service. You will interpret prescriptions, manage orders in the EHR/ALE system, and educate patients on insurance and care options.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold or pursue state licensure
• Experience dispensing eyeglasses
• Familiar with HIPAA regulations
• Excellent customer service and communication

Responsibilities

• Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient with complete product/service explanations
• Identify visual needs and recommend frames, lenses, and treatments
• Stay current on products, rebates, lens/frame options
• Manage prescriptions and document in EHR/ALE systems accurately
• Assist with frame/lens selection and fittings; educate on care and warranties
