Job summary

AEG is seeking a Licensed Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and patient care in a busy practice. You will assist patients in selecting frames, ensure proper measurements, and dispense lenses with a focus on accuracy and service.

Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, communicating with technicians, and maintaining patient records in the EHR/ALE systems. On-site, part-time role with full benefits and growth opportunities within the team.

Qualifications

• State licensure to practice as an optician.
• ABO/NCLE certification preferred but not required.
• Experience dispensing optical products and lenses.
• Familiarity with HIPAA requirements and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories.
• Measure and fit frames, dispense lenses, and adjust eyewear.
• Explain insurance benefits, warranties, and pricing to patients.
• Enter prescription information into EHR/ALE and keep charts updated.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain cleanliness and organization.
