Warby Parker is seeking a licensed optician to join our Hendersonville store. You will work directly with customers to understand eyewear needs, take precise measurements, and ensure the finished frames meet both optical standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states)
• Passionate about eyewear and retail
• Clear, effective communicator who can explain terms to customers
• Dedicated to going above-and-beyond to make customers and teammates happy
• Energetic, positive team player in a fast-paced environment
• Extremely detail-oriented with ability to juggle many responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet eyewear needs
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy
• Check eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements
• Explain prescription terminology and products to customers
• Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional service
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, and lifestyle
• Contribute to best practices for sales and customer service across the organization
• Represent Warby Parker and educate others about our values and mission
