Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team in Nashville, TN. You will help customers meet eyewear needs, take measurements, adjust frames, and ensure alignment with optical standards.

You will explain prescriptions, guide frame choices, and collaborate with teammates to deliver exceptional service. Ideal candidates are licensed or ABO-certified where required, passionate about eyewear, and able to communicate clearly in a fast-paced retail setting while

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states).
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator who can break down technical terms for customers.
• Dedicated to going above and beyond to make customers and teammates happy.
• Energetic, positive team player capable of adapting in a fast-paced environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to juggle many responsibilities.
• Open-minded and eager to learn.
• Not on the Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to meet all of their eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust eyewear, and execute these details with accuracy.
• Check that eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with your team to ensure exceptional service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription needs, face fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Form best practices for sales and customer service that can be implemented throughout the organization.
• Represent Warby Parker to educate others and embody our values and mission.
