Job summary

Warby Parker is looking for skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team and help people see clearly with our eyewear. You will become an expert on Warby Parker products, take precise measurements, fit frames, and verify finishes to meet exact customer needs.

As a licensed dispensing optician, you’ll communicate clearly, assist customers in selecting frames, and collaborate across teams to uphold our service standards and brand values.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• Strong passion for eyewear and retail.
• Clear, effective communicator who explains prescription terms clearly.
• Dedicated to going above and beyond to help customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription and style.
• Develop best practices for sales and customer service across the organization.
• Represent Warby Parker and educate customers about our values.
