Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Licensed Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses, ensure proper fit and accurate dispensing, and maintain clear communication throughout the patient journey.

You will interpret prescriptions, use EHR/ALE systems, and keep up with products, rebates, and lens options while delivering high-quality service and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• State licensure required.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• HIPAA experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and sales experience.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories fitting their prescription and lifestyle.
• Take measurements, ensure proper frame fit, and dispense lenses.
• Enter prescription information into the EHR/ALE and verify documentation.
• Provide exceptional patient care and explain product recommendations.
• Coordinate with technicians and managers on order status and follow up as needed.
• Dispense glasses, adjust for fit, and check for visual acuity and comfort.
