Job summary

AEG is seeking a Licensed Optician to provide eyewear solutions and expert patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses, ensure proper measurements, and dispense lenses with accuracy while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications include state licensure, high school or GED, and experience with optical dispensing. You will work in a team-focused environment with emphasis on patient satisfaction and insurance understanding.

Qualifications

• State Licensure required to practice as a licensed optician.
• High School or GED qualification is required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Optical dispensing experience is necessary.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and lens treatments.
• Ensure proper frame fit, measurements, and accurate lens dispensing.
• Enter prescription information into the EHR/ALE system and maintain documentation.
• Educate patients on insurance, warranties, and care options.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain product knowledge.
