You will supervise opticians and sales associates, manage daily operations, and help forecast staffing needs to maintain top performance.

Qualifications

• Maintain Optical license as required by state.
• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong communication skills for effective management of teams.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills for planning work and monitoring progress toward goals.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• ABO and NCLE certification is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Drives, monitors, and achieves profit, sales and performance goals.
• Oversees eyeglass department efficiency and policy compliance.
• Mentors and coaches Opticians and CL Sales associates.
• Forecasts staffing needs and assists with recruiting and retention.
• Leads associates toward sales and customer service goals.
• Supports apprenticeship programs and staff development.
